A charge of 10% GST is included in the retail price shown. This is charged to customers with an Australian address only. No GST is charged for international orders.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars. You can change currency through currency selector placed at the shopping cart and checkout pages. Conversions are displayed for informational purposes only. All transactions are completed in Australian Dollars (AUD.
Deliveries / Shipping
We aim to dispatch orders within two working days. We send deliveries by Australia Post to both Australian and International customers. All patterns are printed to order in Melbourne Australia - during periods of high volume (usually at the start of the month or when new products are released) dispatch times can be a little longer than two working days. Factoring in printing, processing and delivery, Australian customers should receive their goodies within 10 business days. If any of the 10 business days falls over a public holiday or a lockdown, please allow extra time for these instances.
Most International customers should receive their orders within 20 business days. Unfortunately, sometimes international deliveries can take up to 8 weeks, depending on how busy the postal service is and the discretion of the local customs officers. If you purchase 8 or more patterns, your order may be shipped via UPS expedited shipping and may arrive within 5-15 business days. We thank you for your patience especially since COVID as lockdowns in various cities can cause delays with all postal services.
If you are concerned about shipping times, you may wish to try our digital PDF patterns. For digital pattern purchases, files are delivered to you immediately via email, but you do need to print the pattern at home or in the office and stick the pattern tiles (sometimes there are lots of them!) together to form the full pattern.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of your order. The best way to check postage costs is to add products to the cart and go to the checkout. Once your address details are entered, the shipping cost will be shown.
Note that if a country imposes customs duties, import tax or other fees at the border, these are your responsibility as the customer. When you buy a product from overseas you are considered the importer of that product. If you have any concerns about customs or import restrictions, please contact your local customs office. This is particularly relevant for fabric orders!

How do I buy Style Arc digital patterns?
Style Arc PDF patterns are digital PDF files. They are delivered instantly to the email address you provide. Nothing physical is shipped to you!
We email you links to your patterns. The links to your patterns will expire in 14 days so make sure you download your patterns as soon as possible. We email links to both tiled files (for printing at home on A4 or US Letter size paper) and wide-format print shop files (for printing on 36" wide, or wider, paper).
We email you the size that you ordered, plus the two nearest sizes, just in case! You'll be able to see the size in the product name. Note that there is a different file for each size; the sizes are not nested.
If you haven't received your patterns please check your SPAM or JUNK folder. Sometimes emails from unexpected addresses can be filtered out by your mail system. If you still can't find your pattern files, please contact us and we'll look into it.
How Long Do I Have To Download My Digital Patterns?
You have 14 days to download your patterns. We email you links to your patterns not the patterns themselves. The links to your patterns will expire in 14 days so make sure you download your patterns as soon as possible. We email you green links instead of PDF files to reduce the load on email systems and make it less likely that our order emails end up in your spam folder. If you create a Style Arc Account and are logged in when you purchase your pdfs, you'll have access to your downloads in your My Account area, no limits.
What do I get when I buy a digital pattern?
You get both tiled files and wide-format print shop files in PDF format. Style Arc PDF tiled files patterns are formatted for printing on A4 or US Letter size paper. They can be printed at home or in the office!
Style Arc PDF wide-format print shop patterns are formatted for printing on 36" (914 mm) wide paper, or wider. They can be printed at copy shops that have the right equipment.
For some newer styles, where specified, we also send you print shop patterns formatted for printing on A0 paper with your order. These patterns can be printed on A0 paper, which has the following dimensions: 841 mm x 1,189 mm. It is often easier to find print shops that can print on A0 paper, and printing is often cheaper than wider paper formats. Hopefully the A0 option will make printing your wide format PDF patterns more economical
What Is A Tiled PDF Pattern File?
Style Arc PDF tiled files patterns are formatted for printing on A4 or US Letter size paper. They can be printed at home or in the office!
Each pattern file contains the following:
- A few pages of construction instructions;
- Some instructions on how to put your PDF pattern together;
- A schematic, or layout, sheet showing how the pattern tiles should be arranged to form your complete pattern; and
- A number of pattern tile pages that you need to print. Beware! Sometimes there can be a lot of pattern tiles for printing. We list the number of tiles in the product description.
Once printed the patterns tiles need to be cut out and stuck together. It's like putting a jigsaw together. Once the pattern tiles are stuck together you will have your complete pattern! It's not for everyone, but you will receive your patterns immediately and there are no shipping costs!
How do I know if my tiled digital pattern has printed out correctly?
Your pattern has printed out correctly if the outer edges of the "test square" measures 10 cm (or 3 15/16") and the outer edge of the red rectangle on each pattern tile page measures 9.5 inches by 6.5 inches (24.1 cm x 16.5 cm). If you don't get these measurements check your printer settings and try again!
If you're having trouble getting your printed copies to match these sizes, try these steps:
- Save the pattern file (rather than opening it up using a viewer within a browser). To keep it simple you can just save it to your desktop, if you like.
- Open the pattern file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Try printing out just one of the pattern pages (one with the red rectangles). When the print dialogue box opens up you will have to look through the printer settings to make sure there is NO SCALING going on.
- Each printer is different unfortunately! On my computer I'm able to set "Custom Scale" to 100%. Some others are able to choose "Actual Size" or "no scaling" or set page scaling to "None". You should also select "Auto portrait/landscape".
- If the red rectangle on the pattern tile pages measures 9.5 inches by 6.5 inches you've printed your pattern correctly!

What Is A Wide-format Print Shop Pdf Pattern File?
Style Arc PDF wide-format print shop patterns are formatted for printing on 36" (914 mm) wide paper, or wider. They can be printed at copy shops that have the right equipment. You won't be able to print these files on a regular office or home printer.IMPORTANT: Make sure the files are printed "actual size" with NO scaling - if not, your pattern will be the wrong size!
