Hi Chloe! I just finished my Misty pull-on jeans. I don’t hear much about this pattern, but I think it’s a hidden gem in your line. OMG they are so easy and really fit like jeans. How can they be so fast to sew and look better than my expensive Paige stretch jeans? I did make a muslin because I bought some really nice paisley stretch denim, and wanted to make any alterations before I cut. I made a very small flat butt adjustment, but I don’t think I needed it. Maybe girls with a bigger waist/hip ratio can’t pull these off, but I am amazed how fantastic they look & fit, and I can make them in about an hour. The double elastic waist seemed weird but I sandwiched the waist between the two elastic loops and ran them through my coverstitch machine – it’s a really clean finish and they stay put. (Gotta hide that elastic at all costs! I don’t want anyone to suspect they are “elastic”and I don’t think anyone would guess!) Next pair, I will make the front pocket a tiny bit deeper but no other changes. I just have to thank you and share my excitement! These elastic waist jeans are worth my very best fabric. Thanks for a super fast, really fun, and awesome fit “jeans”!
