LEGS
With RST sew the front to back at the side seams. Neaten using an overlocker/ serger and press toward the back
With RST sew the front to back at the in-leg seams. Neaten using an overlocker/serger and press toward the back.
With RST sew the crotch seams together. Start at the back waist, sew down to the base of the crotch then continue sewing up the front crotch finishing at the front waist. Neaten using an overlocker/serger and press to one side.
WAISTBAND:
Cut the elastic to your preferred personal length (or see measurement chart for cut length). Lay one end of the elastic on top of the opposite end and stitch together securely.
With the elastic on the inside, pin one edge of the elastic to the top edge of the waist. Once in place overlock/serge the elastic to the top of the waist (or sew with a stretch stitch), stretching the elastic as you sew.
Turn the elastic to the inside and pin in place. Topstitch the overlocked/serged edge of the elastic to the waist, stretching the elastic as you sew. You may choose to use a twin needle.
HEMS AND COMPLETION:
Neaten the hems using an overlocker/serger and turn to the inside 2cm (3/4”) and pin into place. Sew then press. You may choose to use a twin needle.
Trim any loose threads and press your new pants.
