I haven’t made the blouse yet, but the pants! After making a whole bunch of Georgie jeans, I wanted something different, so I pulled out the Victor pattern. They are a tiny bit big, not so much that it’s worth taking them apart, but that will be adjusted in my next pair. Before I cut the pockets out, I stitched out a pretty embroidery design a couple times, and cut the pockets around that. (Life is too short for undecorated jeans!) These pants are gorgeous, and I will be making another pair, soon.
One thing I really appreciate in Style Arc patterns: I’m not a plus size; I’m a bigger Missy size. Most patterns that are anywhere close to my size are “plus” sizes, and have a ton of excess fabric in the waist and hip area. So, usually, to make pants, I have to either spend a day altering a plus pattern down, or spend a day adjusting a smaller missy pattern up. Drives me nuts. With Style Arc, though, I measure, cut my size and… it fits! Thanks, SA, for making sewing enjoyable again.

Made both the blouse and the jeans and I love them both. The sizing on the jeans is generous and my next pair I will size down – which means I need the smaller pattern, but I consider it worth the investment.
