This cleverly drafted pattern has a front dolman sleeve and a set-in sleeve at the back. The masculine button-through front is off-set by the slight gathers that fall from the front neck and back yoke. This design features a 3/4 length sleeve and a gathered peplum skirt that creates an easy boxy silhouette.

I received this as a free PDF pattern this month and have made it twice already. I made no alterations to the length but I am 5’3″ and usually have to shorten all blouses in sleeve and body length. Someone taller may want to lengthen the body and sleeves of this pattern. My measurements equate to a size 14 in Stylearc but I usually size down and I cut out a 12 and it fits fine (I am small busted). Lots of gathering and top stitching but it’s easy to make (I’ve been sewing for 45+ years.) I used 100% cotton for one top and 100% linen for another and I like the look of the linen one the best.

Wearing it now! Lovely pattern and fit. I applied a narrow trim to the seams, rather than top stitching. Very pleased with the result 😀
