This is my second Style Arc pattern after the Hope dress, and again it is an excellent pattern design. The instructions could be better, for example, “fold in half” is unclear whether you fold it lengthwise or the other way. I examined sewing blogs to figure some things out with the belt loops and the elastic waist. However the finished product is fabulous. I don’t think it even needs the belt loops and tie to be honest, its a very smart fit for an elastic waisted pant. Didn’t need to change the pattern at all. Would repurchase.

Enjoyed making up this pattern – sewed a pair of linen pants, plus size … they really are wide leg which I find hard to get used to after leggings!
The fit is just right, although I should have shortened the legs more than I did for my 5’3″ height – I ended up with pants to my ankles. I have a large stomach, and they sit really well with the flat elasticated waistband at the front. Very flattering.

Excellent pattern for shorts. I’ve made two pairs: one in linen and the other in a poplin-type fabric. If I make another linen pair, I will size down.

Love these pants!! Loved the waist band construction. I made a size 8 without modification except for a 1” addition in length to get a great 7/8th length pant for my 5’11” frame. Definitely plan to make more. In the photos the pants are paired with the Vicki Top also from StyleArc. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU5bmWA-3K/

I love these trousers. I added 3 cm to the rise although my elastic was wider than recommended to they probably ended up with 2.5 increase to the rise. I was apprehenive about the elastic waist but as other reviewers have said they are very flattering. I made them in a lovely cotton sateen and plan to make more. Highly recommend.

Love these pants – will be making them again shortly. I did find that my normal SA size was a little big, so I will be sizing down for the next pair.

Always had slim leg trousers but as I was going on holiday decided to try these for a change, first time I have used style arc trouser pattern and I’m glad I did.
The pattern was easy to follow and the result great, I used my normal size 16 the only alteration was the leg length I took about five inches out but I suppose it all depends on your finished leg preference, I’m 5ft 4 in.
Super comfy.👍

The most perfect pair of cropped wide leg pants I could imagine. I love everything about them – the width of the trouser leg, the slant pockets, the belt the elasticated waist which sits flat at the front – just perfect. Quick and easy to make (despite getting a little bit confused as to the direction of the pleat).
The only alteration I had to make is to shorten the length (which I always have to do as I am 5’2″). Love them! *rushes off to make a hundred more pairs of them*

Very nice comfortable pants, I like the loose fitting, with elastic waist and side tucks, I included 3 buttons just for show centre front.
Made them in light corduroy.

This pant pattern runs a little big- my usual size is a 10 -which I made and then took them in 1/2 “each side plus lowering the waistband-now I love them and have made two more pair
