This shirt has a great oversized fit that my kiddo loves. The only problem is the side slit instructions are not helpful, and it seems like more seam allowance should have been drafted there for a better turn in. I’m a fairly intermediate sewer and comfortable working with knits in lots of different patterns, but my side slits on this shirt are *a mess*.

This is a fantastic easy fit t-shirt and a great little scrap buster project. Very easy to put together, it would be ideal for a beginner to knit sewing. The instructions are short but concise and the little diagram at the bottom outlines perfectly which pieces go where. I made one for my 9 year old out of some old interlock from Moda I had in the stash for years. I think it would be better with a knit that has better stretch and recovery. But my daughter loves it and tried it on immediately after I’d finished. There will be more!
