Quick make, easy make. I sized up one and it fit perfectly & has a lovely A line shape. I used a double knit from the stash. I plan to make another in ponte.

Very quick and easy. Made it up in a relatively solid sweater knit ( as opposed to a jersey/ponte) and it came out well. Flattering rather than sausage casing! A bit straighter than the sketch implies but nevertheless a pattern that I’ll be using more than once.

Unfortunately this one did not work out for me. I chose a size based on my measurements and graded up at the hips to a larger size, and still this ended up somewhat like a sausage casing on me. I used a nice-quality ponte but still it showed every lump and bump. Sorry it didn’t work out, but even though this is my first Style Arc pattern I’m still feeling optimistic about their designs.

I’ve purchased several Style Arc patterns but this was the first I made up.
Really easy to assemble the pattern, very easy to put the garment together and the finished skirt is a beauty and fits so well! The shape of the skirt is well drafted and a notch above others on the market.
I’m looking forward to making another Northcote skirt for the cooler months ahead and will be making up more Style Arc patterns!

One of the best patterns I’ve purchased from Style Arc. Why? Easy to assemble, you don’t even need instructions, incredibly comfortable and truly a staple wardrobe piece. I actually hand stitched this easily. No sewing machines. Classic and very flattering.

Really love this skirt pattern. Very quick to make and flattering and comfortable to wear. I made it in a tartan brushed poly and cut it on the bias like in the example picture above which gives it a nice drape.

As the previous 2 reviews this is a fabulous pattern. Incredibly comfortable, stylish skirt. An easy quick make on the overlocker. A perfect skirt made in ponte fabric for a cold NZ winter. I’m 5.7 and lengthened my skirt by 2.5 cm , a perfect length for me and my ankle boots.

A very quick make. Great basic skirt with lots of possibility. I made it up in an animal print ponte. I’m very pleased with the result.

Fabulous, fabulous skirt pattern! Three seams and you’re done! Ive made 3 so far in stretch heavy wool, jumper knit and stretch cord. Perfect for winter days over thick socks and ankle boots or I can imagine in summer weight floaty fabrics. So clever. A keeper.
