Awesome pattern. I am now up to three new tops with a fourth cut out, just waiting to be sewn.

After my last review I did make another top, with alterations to the sleeve width 1/2″ each side – I am much happier with the result. It is not tight from the top of the sleeve to the wrist.
Also if you do make a similar alteration do not forget to extend the notch on the back & front to accommodate the extra width, in my case 1/2″ further down.
I love this version and will happily make more of them, a great top.

Quick easy top to put together. I made this out of a lightweight poly textured knit with a one way stretch.
I love the top but I have found the sleeves a little too firm I did cut the fabric with maximum stretch around the sleeve. Next one will alter the pattern to have a larger sleeve head and widen the sleeve all the way to the hem. I did sew this on a coverhem machine using the chain stitch for all seams to maximise the stretch.
Also I did size down on this one and found it still to be an excellent fit other than the sleeves.
I am now ready to cut out the next using a 2 way stretch fabric with the sleeve alterations. This fabric is only 122 wide but did increased the meterage to 2mts, there will be only a small amount of waste.

Love this quick, easy sweater pattern, and made it up on a rainy afternoon. Contains only 5 pattern pieces so is nice and simple. The instructions are quite brief so a little sewing knowledge might be helpful.
The cocoon design is lovely and it is a comfortable item to pair with jeans and a scarf on cooler days. I particularly love the skinny sleeves, lovely and narrow but not too tight – perfect! I will definitely be making more of these! Ooh and the fit was spot on, I made the size suggested for my measurements and it fits perfectly. No alterations needed.

How Do I Know What Size I Am?
Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
When taking your measurements ensure that you take them against your skin and not over clothing. One can wear a comfortable bra and knickers whilst measuring, as this will provide you with the most accurate measurements.
Tape measure has to sit firmly around the points you are measuring. But be careful not to pull it too tight, as this will give you the incorrect size.
When measuring circumferences (B, C, D, E) it is important to note that the tape measure must remain parallel to the floor. It is sometimes best to take the measurements in front of a mirror; this will help you see the angle of the tape measure.
You will only require the basic body measurements to determine your pattern size which is indicated on our mannequin below:
A. Shoulder Breadth
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
B. Upper Arm Girth
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
C. Bust
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
D. Waist
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
E. Hip
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.
