Using this as a learning to sew project with my 12 year old granddaughter.
Easily adjustable. Adding a quilted lining and are skipping the elastic tound the bottom.
Can see this being made up in diffrrent styles for the other grandkids eg as a rain jacket.

This is a fantastic pattern! It is easy to put together and it is a beautiful classic jacket. You can sew it all year around, as it can be sewn is many different types of fabric. I am absolutely in love with this pattern.

A simple pattern with a great result! Made first time with double sided quilted fabric: second time, with a showerproof outer but extended the facing to fully line it with a toning cotton fabric. Great success. Love it: and so too does the granddaughter…made shorts to “match” from the lining: one chic kid, beach ready. Love this pattern!
