My 9 year old granddaughter and I love this pattern. She is learning to sew and managed the pants very well. They are stylish, easy to sew and fit well. The top is very cute and takes very little fabric . It is great for using up scraps. I had never done shirring before so was a bit intimidated but it was very simple and makes it look special.

Love the pants so easy to make, pockets are great and love the detail on the bottom hem. Ideal for light weight fabric as very full. I made in a linen blend and would take off maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch at the sides seams as looked a bit baggy on my 8 year old but she loves them.
Just made the top but material was too stiff, easy make and shearing was much easier then I imagined.
