I made this over the summer; I couldn’t get over the whole idea of a two-piece sleeve on a sweatshirt! The only tough part of the sewing was finding size 110/18 ballpoint needles – that was the trick needed to sew the pocket/flap/top/bottom together. The truly hard part was, I had to hang loose for a few months before wearing it, until the temperature dropped a bit here in the northern US.
So this morning I’m walking my dog, wearing this sweatshirt and jeans (Georgies, which I love as well), and people I run into are telling me I look sharp. In jeans and a sweatshirt.
That does it. I’m going to make a couple more, and relegate my old hoodies to the pulling weeds clothes.

very easy to follow instructions and came together really nicely, especially love the placket/front, looks great. it is quite loose and big, and I put a loose band on the bottom to ‘pull it together’ a bit and finish it off. but that’s to suit me. I didn’t do the cord around the bottom or hood. I will definitely make another.

I like pdf patterns. I’m in the middle of making this and so far so good. Stylearc provides great service. When I was laying out the pattern, I had a question about the grain line. So I posted both on instagram and directly to their website’s customer service. Both responded quickly and thoroughly. Looking forward to wearing the finished product.
