This is my favorite summer shirt pattern. There is so much fun variation you can do with it by using multiple fabrics for the inside and the outside of the collar and for the back panel. The design offers lots of interesting details, but is not very difficult to sew. I’ve made two so far and will probably use the pattern again next summer.

This went together really easily and was finished in one day.I only have 2 problems with The size 24 is a tad too big (I measured before ordering). I took it in though to make it fit perfect. Also the collar is a little wimpy (too thin) for a large lady like me. It could use a little more width.

I love this pattern
Perfect for a loose summery blouse.
I used a voile, added 1 inch to the length all round as I like it a little longer.
Will be making the next one in a lightweight linen.

Use this pattern if you are looking for a quick and easy loose style for hot summer days. I like the shape and length of it. The back gives it an interesting twist. I made mine with a cotton lawn with a problematic pattern that I had been pondering for some time, this style was the perfect solution.

Just the blouse I was looking for. I added length to the sleeves, did a full biceps adjustment (I always have to do that) and added length to front and back because I have a long torso and don’t like to show my tummy. I also interfaced the plackets.
Perhaps not a pattern for beginners.

I really love this pattern but there is a huge sizing difference between the 16 and 18.
The 16 fit small and yet I feel like I am swimming in the 18. Perhaps I am just not used to the oversize fit of the blouse style. Any way the pattern pieces went to together well. I would suggest interfacing the front button placket to reinforce the button holes and I used lace seam tape for the sleeve hems .
