This pattern is great quality and simple to use. I’d recommend extending the collar a little especially on larger sizes. The teeny collar means it doesn’t lay down as nicely when open. I also added a little extra seam allowance around the collar as my sewing is not as great as it used to be. This way I can trim back the bulk and I have room for mistakes.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE this shirt. Have made it twice and planning on extending to a dress and adding long sleeves, The finish is beautiful and it is SO comfortable to wear. Will add a bit of length to my next one Size 18 and everytime I wear these shirts I get compliments. The Back is unique with the insert Back panel but lends itself to adding coordinating fabric in this area. Fits true to size with no gaping at the bust

Lovely shirt to sew, hadn’t made a shirt with a collar for many years, but got my head around the pattern easily. Very pleased with the end result. Made this for myself, but me being very short, didn’t suit me. Having said that, my daughter-in-law now has it, adores it, and has asked me to make more for her for work!

This is my favorite summer shirt pattern. There is so much fun variation you can do with it by using multiple fabrics for the inside and the outside of the collar and for the back panel. The design offers lots of interesting details, but is not very difficult to sew. I’ve made two so far and will probably use the pattern again next summer.

This went together really easily and was finished in one day.I only have 2 problems with The size 24 is a tad too big (I measured before ordering). I took it in though to make it fit perfect. Also the collar is a little wimpy (too thin) for a large lady like me. It could use a little more width.

I love this pattern
Perfect for a loose summery blouse.
I used a voile, added 1 inch to the length all round as I like it a little longer.
Will be making the next one in a lightweight linen.

Use this pattern if you are looking for a quick and easy loose style for hot summer days. I like the shape and length of it. The back gives it an interesting twist. I made mine with a cotton lawn with a problematic pattern that I had been pondering for some time, this style was the perfect solution.

Just the blouse I was looking for. I added length to the sleeves, did a full biceps adjustment (I always have to do that) and added length to front and back because I have a long torso and don’t like to show my tummy. I also interfaced the plackets.
Perhaps not a pattern for beginners.

I really love this pattern but there is a huge sizing difference between the 16 and 18.
The 16 fit small and yet I feel like I am swimming in the 18. Perhaps I am just not used to the oversize fit of the blouse style. Any way the pattern pieces went to together well. I would suggest interfacing the front button placket to reinforce the button holes and I used lace seam tape for the sleeve hems .

How Do I Know What Size I Am?
Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
When taking your measurements ensure that you take them against your skin and not over clothing. One can wear a comfortable bra and knickers whilst measuring, as this will provide you with the most accurate measurements.
Tape measure has to sit firmly around the points you are measuring. But be careful not to pull it too tight, as this will give you the incorrect size.
When measuring circumferences (B, C, D, E) it is important to note that the tape measure must remain parallel to the floor. It is sometimes best to take the measurements in front of a mirror; this will help you see the angle of the tape measure.
You will only require the basic body measurements to determine your pattern size which is indicated on our mannequin below:
A. Shoulder Breadth
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
B. Upper Arm Girth
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
C. Bust
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
D. Waist
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
E. Hip
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.
