Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

Really liked this top but for me it runs quite large, in the future I will need to shorten the bodice as well as the sleeves and size down considerably. For reference in 5’6 and weigh 185. I made a size 18 according to my measurements and it was way too large in every single way. I normally wear a 12 or 14 retail.

Beautiful pattern with unusual tailored neckline. The inserts make your finished garment stand out from the crowd. Directions for inserts easy to follow. I would highly recommend this pattern, even for sewists at confident beginner level.

This is a great pattern. Goes together easily and is easy to understand. I made it up in fleece and made the collar slightly longer as there was no stretch in the fabric I used. It works really well and is very snuggly and warm for the cold weather.
