Just the nicest dress! So easy to wear – I have made two, one in viscose with a fantastic drape, and one in a super soft spun poly with very little stretch. Both are my favourite dress right now! The only thing that I changed was to draft a casing at the waist to make the drawstring easier. It was very quick to make up and really flattering, although I shall probably raise the neckline a little next time. If I could be bothered, I’d do a FBA but the style is so forgiving, it can cope with being a little wider on the shoulders.

I am an intermediate sewist and I found this dress easy to do. I chose a very drappy rayon viscose and shortened the dress to up to my knees. Turned out beautifully. Great to lounge, go to the beach or go shopping with. Very comfortable.
