The overall skirt is really nice and a good fit, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. They’re so brief it’s hard to know what they’re saying. It’s a good thing I’ve been sewing a long time otherwise sorting out what was what would have been a lot more frustrating than it was.

The finished skirt turned out really nice, but not without a lot of frustration. Some of the pattern pieces are mislabeled and the instructions are really brief and without a lot of detail or photos/drawings which made for a few times I didn’t understand what was wanted and then had to rip out what I had done and try again. I have been sewing my entire life, but still appreciate more detail in instructions. I will try making this again, but with all the notes I made to myself during the construction of my original piece to help me out!

This is a nice simple and classic jean skirt pattern! I used a linen blend and probably should have sized down since it relaxes a bit more than a denim would.
The drafting is great as always, but some pattern pieces seem to be mislabeled/or instructions incorrectly flipped r/l side, which caused some issues with construction (ex: right pocket should be left).
I recommend cutting two waistband pieces for a nicer finish instead of just turning down the top of the waistband to finish it as written in the pattern.
