Made this as a toile to see how the pant looked before making it for real and I liked the pattern. Haven’t made it in a nice fabric yet but is eager to do so.

This pattern was easy to assemble and I made zero mods. I cut a size 8 and the fit is slightly loose but that is the look…and I love it:)

I made the McKenzie Woven pant in black Trilobal, size 6. It is a very easy pattern, although I had difficulty with the waistband- I had to lengthen the front piece by adding 1.5cm on both sides. The instructions were easy to follow and the illustrations very helpful. McKenzie is a gorgous pant to have in your wardrobe. Love it!

This is the second time I make this pattern. First in a loose tendel and the fit was phenomenal. Relax and loose just as in photos. It’s an easy pattern to work with and when I had to choose a pattern for a velvet version, this was a no brainer. Velvet was resourced from an old 70’s party dress so I made some modifications on the width of the bottoms and I wanted a cropped look. This pattern was my first pant pattern and I learned tons. Instructions for waistband are a bit confusing but a little bit of patience I was able to Figure it out

The McKenzie is a lovely easy fit pant. The instructions were great, still the usual dot points for assembly order but the diagrams on this one are really helpful. I used this for lined sequin pants and simply used the main pieces with a slightly larger seam allowance to create the lining. This is a generous fit with quite a bit of ease and a little lower in the crotch than other StyleArc I’ve made. Overall a nice quick pattern with good results.
