With right sides facing, sew the front and back yoke pieces together at the shoulder seams. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the back.

With right sides facing sew the short ends of the neck band together.

Fold the neckband in half lengthways with the right sides facing out and stay stitch the two raw edges together.

Sew the neckband to the neck, matching the notches, stretching the neckband slightly as you sew. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press the seam downwards. Edge stitch around the neck on the side of the yoke, stretching slightly as you sew.

With right sides together fold the hem bands in half lengthways and stitch across one short end, clip the corner and turn out to the right side. Stay stitch both raw edges together.

With right sides together sew the hem bands to the bottom edges of the side panels, matching the notches. Note, the turned out end of the hem band matches to the back seam notch of the side panel and the front of the hem band matches to the front cut edge of the side panel. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press upwards. Sew a 6mm (1/4”) topstitch on the side panel.

With right sides facing, sew the back to the side panel. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the centre back.

With right sides facing, sew the front to the front seam of the side panel. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the centre front.

Neaten the bottom edge of the front and back central panels with an overlocker/serger. With the front seams pressed towards the centre front, turn up the hem of the front panel and twin needle topstitch to secure. Repeat for the back panel.

With right sides facing, sew the underarm sleeve seams together. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the back.

Sew a 6mm (1/4”) topstitch down the front angled seams. Repeat for the back angled seams.

With the right sides facing sew the short ends of the cuffs together and turn out to the right side. Fold in half lengthways with wrong sides together and stay stitch both the raw edges of the cuff together to hold in place.

Sew the raw edges of the cuffs to the sleeve openings, stretching the cuff as you sew. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press upwards. Sew a 6mm (1/4”) topstitch on the side of the sleeve.
