CONSTRUCTION:
With RST, sew two short ends (centre back seam) together using a 1cm (3/8”) seam allowance. Press the seam open.
Fold the tie in half lengthways with the RST, and sew the short ends and along the length using a 1cm (3/8”) seam. Leave a gap in the middle of 10cm (3/4”) as shown on the pattern for turning out.
Clip the corners and turn each end through the gap. Press, carefully pressing the seam allowance of the gap to the inside.
Sew the gap closed by hand or machine.
