More TUTORIALS (18)With right sides facing sew the pocket bag to the fused angled pocket seam on the front leg. Turn the pocket to the inside and understitch close to the seam on the side of the pocket bag.

Topstitch along the pocket opening.

With right sides facing sew the pocket bearer to the pocket bag around the outer edges. Neaten with an overlocker/serger then press and pin in place.

Stay stitch the top of the pocket to the waist and the side of the pocket to the side seam.

With right sides facing sew the front and back side seams together. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the back.

With right sides facing sew the front and back inside legs together. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press towards the back.

With the right sides facing sew the front and back crotch seams together. Start at the front waist and sew down to the base of the crotch and continue sewing up the back crotch finishing at the back waist seam. Neaten with an overlocker/serger and press to the wearers right.

Fuse the centre of the front waistband and with right sides facing sew the side seams of the waistband together, turn to the right side and press the seams open.

Cut the elastic to your personal length, refer to the size chart.

Fold the elastic in half and mark centre back of the elastic with chalk

Stitch both ends of the cut elastic to the markings on the inner waistband followed by pinning the centre back chalk mark on the elastic to the centre back of the inner waistband.

With right sides on the outer, press the waistband in half and stay stitch both cut edges together.

With right sides facing, sew the waistband to the waist of the pant. Neaten with an overlocker/serger.

Even out the elastic around the waistband by stretching the elastic out and pinning the waistband to the elastic.

Sew a vertical topstitch through the centre back and sides to prevent the elastic from rolling.

Neaten the leg openings with an overlocker/serger. Turn the hem to the inside and topstitch.

Press your new pants.
