Our Blair Shirt and Shirt Dress has been one of our favourite styles. Even a couple of years after its release it continues to be one of our best sellers. Don’t get us wrong Blair is still an amazing style and will always be one of our faves, however, here at the Style Arc HQ we felt it was time to introduce an update for you, the Monty Shirt & Dress. This is a two in one sewing pattern – you get the shirt as well as the dress. Monty is available in all the usual formats paper single-size, paper multi-size, PDF single size and PDF multi-size.
Both styles feature an extended shoulder line, neat revere collar and pocket flaps. At the back there is a deep yoke and central box pleat. We love the unique button placement for this style. The shirt is a modern cropped boxy silhouette with the hem finishing on the high hip. We have styled it here with the Kew Woven Pant but would also look great with high-waisted denim. The easy fit dress has all the same features as the shirt but extended to fall below the knee, has optional inseam pockets and side splits. The perfect desk to dinner style when styled with a high heel or wear a summer slide or sneakers for a casual look.
