Love the pattern, but be careful of your choice of knit, used a fairly loose knit and quickly had a steep learning curve using flexible interfacing tape on all edges, overlocked them then made a flat seam, used the ties, folded and sewn, looked much more user friendly, also made this in a navy light ponte fabric with matching trousers, great substitute for a jumpsuit, looks and feels great, very flattering also no bathroom jiggling, will be using this pattern again and again

I made this in gold for a cabaret night. Great pattern needed no alterations at all. I wil make a couple for summer in linen.
Comfortable to wear and looked fabulous

I did struggle a bit with the ties. Might also make them a little shorter next time. But by and large, it came together quickly and i absolutely loooove it. I used linen-jersey, its soo comfy, yet chic and so flattering. Can’t wait to make 5 more!

This is an excellent pattern that I have so far made twice. I used a 95% cotton 5% Lycra fabric which worked brilliantly. I found the sizing was generous and the wrap was not too low. A previous reviewer stated the tiers were 1 layer thick but following the pattern I didn’t find this. I would recommend this as it was straightforward to make and looks good on.

This is a great pattern but with some caveats. I made this out of some inexpensive sweater knit, which might have worked ok but the whole thing stretched out during assembly. Yes, they say to be careful about this in the instructions but it would’ve been better if they’d suggested binding all of the seams with seam binding unless you’re using a very stable knit. Also, the tie is only one layer of fabric thick. This means the wrong side shows. With my fabric, the wrong side curled over the right side so that only the unprinted white side showed. I removed the ties and cut two additional pieces and sewed the ties so that no wrong side was visible. Unfortunately, this made the ties thick and added a lot of bulk to the waist. If I make this again, I will use a knit with very good recovery. I would not use sweater knit again unless it was yarn-dyed, and I would definitely bind the top neckline edge instead of serging it and turning it under. Live and learn! I might make this again in a good quality bamboo. I think you want a knit with excellent recovery and an attractive “wrong” side.
