Love love love these pants. I made them in a very stable (ie not much stretch!) thick loop back Terry. I compounded the lack of stretch by cutting on the cross grain which made me nervous about fit (and pulling them on) but they turned out great.
So stylish and look great dressed up with boots.
I shortened the length by about 1” (I’m about 5’3.5”) in order to achieve an ankle grazer length (as in the pictures of the model wearing a grey pair). I used a cotton lawn for the pocket bags (and faced with my loop back terry) which I really recommend doing to reduce bulk both at the hips and the thickness of material to get through your machine.
Will definitely be making again.

Hi Harriet,
Thank you for this lovely review on the Geoffrey Knit Pant. We’re thrilled to hear how much you love your pants.
Your tip about using cotton lawn for the pocket bag with your terry facing is a great idea for reducing bulk — thank you for sharing that with other makers.
We’re so happy the pattern worked well for you, and we can’t wait to see your next pair.
Thanks again,
Style Arc.

Love these pants, this is the first pair I have made and I absolutely love them, the instructions were easy to follow. I used my measurements and the fit is perfect although I did shorten by 1” as I’m only 5ft 3ins.
I had lots of compliments.
Would definitely recommend

Nice pattern that was quite easy to sew although I did leave the pockets out and I have to add an elastic waistband to keep them on me 😀.

Quick and easy pattern. Lovely and comfortable. Good fit. Only caveat: make sure your pleats in the front leg are both in the right/same direction before you sew them down. (Guess why I‘m mentioning this!!!😂)
