This is a lovely pattern and I have made it twice now. One in knit and one in cotton. I love it has the different neckline pieces for woven or knit. My only negative is that the multi-size pattern prints all the sizes and the seam lines for each size. With small size differences, the lines are often on top of each other and so I found tracing the correct size difficult. I would love if these pdf patterns would have layers so you can print only the size you want. (Sewists are always asking for more from pattern companies! )

I have made the age 4 dress for woven fabric having made the adult dress first. However the neck bias binding for the child’s dress was way too short.
I find the instructions are not user friendly.

This is a lovely dress and a quick and easy sew. I haven’t used this brand before so maybe it’s just unfamiliar sizing, but in the woven it definitely needs a bit more ease in the sleeve and I had to extend the back slit further down to get over my daughter’s head. I made a size 7 even though she measured at a 6 on the size chart and it isn;t as roomy as I’d expect but it will definitely last a season. It is a pity it doesn;t go up to a size 12 as my other daughter wants one.

I made this for both my grand daughters in sizes 6 & 8. They love them. Unfortunately, though they can get them over their heads without any problem they can’t get their arms through. Possibly I chose the wrong size – first time with a Style Arc pattern.
Maybe a zipper would have been a good idea.

I made this dress for my 2 year old grand daughter. She loved it and so did I. I used a woven Disney print from Hobby Lobby. I placed a contrast piping in the front seams, which added a bit of pop to it. It was an easy enjoyable make!

This dress is perfect in a stretch fabric, the two I made were well received. I did one in a cotton fabric also as the pattern also said it was for woven – please make the armskye larger as it is very tight for girls to wear.

Wonderful pattern, easily and quickly sewn. I don’t think you need to be an intermediate sewer to make this. I made 2 in a soft corduroy and they look great. Now I am making 2 in a knit fabric. I would highly recommend this pattern.
