Introducing our latest release sewing pattern, the Philomena Woven Dress.
Designed for the experienced sewist, Philomena includes heaps of fun construction features such as a fitted bodice with V-neck, gathers falling from the yoke, double yoke, optional shirred waist insert, waist ties, 3/4 length sleeves with optional wide shirred cuffs, A line-skirt and an invisible zip side closure. While this project is a more challenging one, we have a tutorial online to help you through the construction process.
We suggest making Philomena in a fabric with a nice drape such as silk, rayon, crepe or viscose. We have used viscose for this sample, made in a size 8 and worn by our lovely model who is 174 cm (5′ 8 1/2″) tall. Like all our latest patterns, this style is available in sizes 4-30.
