Product Description
As well as being a designer pant this is most comfortable pant you will ever wear! The tucked elastic waist and dropped crotch along with the slight balloon shaped leg gives this designer pant an edgy look.
The leg narrows off at the cropped hemline therefore can be worn rolled up if preferred.

Linen, Crepe, Silk, Fine Wool

While these are similar to the Bob pants in comfort and style, I found the crotch a bit low and will raise it in the next pair. I had a bolt end of crinkle cotton to use as a muslin and made only two changes worth noting, I redrafted the pocket so I could attach it to waistline in the seam with the waistband. This keeps it from flopping around. I’ll do this to my next pair of Bobs, too. The second change was to move the pleats in front about an inch toward the side seam. I do not have a full tummy and the fullness was not needed but they look terrific as a design feature. I purchased some black linen for another pair and a piece of off white for the Ethel top, pattern is printed but not cut out. Will be such a classy outfit! I have been happy with all my StyleArc patterns.

I read a review of these pants where they were referred to as a cross between MC Hammer and clown pants. I couldn’t get that description out of my mind when I first tried them on. However, when paired with the Ethel top I fell in love with this outfit. I used a pure linen which added to the overall “chicness” of the look. I’m going to make a second combo outfit. No doubt they are roomy. I made them in my usual size but as others suggest it might be OK to go down a size.

Easy and they look like the picture. Comfortable. Waistband a bit wide for me but easy to make smaller.

These pants are fantastic, the pattern is a breeze to follow and they are the easiest pants I have ever made. I made two in about three hours and will be making more.

I enjoyed making these awesome pants two days ago. Easy to follow pattern (size 14), but I probably could have used a size 12 as they are quite roomy. I made them in light weight rust color linen and very pleased with the result. Looking for some more fabric to make a pair for the cooler months. I have another three Style Arc patterns to make up soon… can’t wait! Thank you Style ARC.

I loved this pattern. It was joy to sew and it looks so good. I made it in deco cotton that looks a bit like linen. I had to make a second pair (and that went even faster than the first) because the first was too big. And I got a feeling I could go even a size smaller – but I can’t because I don’t have a pattern smaller … That’s the only thing that bothers me. So I suggest going a size smaller, especially when in doubt or between sizes. I shortened both for two inches and it was just right – I”m on the short side.

Excellent pattern with good instructions. Quick and easy to make, so I’ve completed 2 pair so far. Being height challenged (5’3″) I had to shorten the length several inches, but no worries. Both pair were made in summer weight linen and will help me make it through a hot, humid southern US summer in style.

Fabulous pants . A really great shape . I’ve made several pairs in wool and linen and both fabrics work well . The instructions are easy to follow. The pattern is quite generous so if you were in between sizes and unsure I would go with the smaller size . They look good with the Ethel top and the Skye top .
